Why Having a Purpose For Your Business Is Important
At the heart of every successful business lies a strong sense of purpose. Whether it’s a business that produces cutting-edge products or provides essential services to its customers, having clear goals and a driving mission can make all the difference when it comes to success. This is because having a business purpose helps to keep both employees and customers focused on the company’s ultimate goals. It also gives the community a clear idea of what the company stands for. Furthermore, a well-defined business purpose often involves long term thinking and creative problem solving, helping companies stay ahead of the pack in an ever-changing world.
Companies that embrace their purpose have a major competitive advantage – one that no other organization can replicate. So if your goal is to build a thriving and impactful business, first start by defining your core purpose and ensuring that it aligns with your values and ambitions. When done properly, this approach will pave the way for long-term success and prosperity.
Walter Roofing + Solar’s Purpose
For those that don’t know, the name of our business was named after our loving pitbull, Walter. The sweetest boy any owner could ask for. Unfortunately, Walter passed very early due to cancer. In his honor, we donate a portion of our proceeds to Rescue Rehab Rehome, a local rescue here in West Des Moines, Iowa. Walter would have wanted that!
Our most recent portion covered adoption fees for four beautiful pitbull puppies: Angel, Brock, Blake, and Bo.
We will forever contribute to organizations because it helps families, communities, and is the right thing to do.
If you are looking to donate to a puppy rescue shelter, there are a few things you should consider before making your donation. First, you should make sure that the shelter is reputable and has a good track record. You should also make sure that the shelter is properly funded and has the resources it needs to take care of the puppies.
One great way to help out a puppy rescue shelter is by covering their adoption fees. This will allow more puppies to be adopted and given a loving home. If you can’t afford to cover the entire adoption fee, you can always contribute a portion of it. Additionally, you may want to offer your time and services by volunteering at the shelter. Every little bit helps!
Behind every great business is a great purpose. Whether that’s donating, volunteering, or anything in-between, we believe by giving back that you can make a difference in your community.
